‘Smokey and the Bandit’ hit the screens in 1977 and not only catapulted Burt Reynold’s career, but helped seal the Trans Am’s appeal with his trusty Trans Am, Bandit. Alan Taylor sat down with Burt at Barrett-Jackson where he reflected on the Bandit and his relationship with Sally Field.
