Ed Justice Jr. – Justice Brothers, Inc. President and CEO joins Alan on this weeks “The Drive” as they both discuss the ridiculous rise of gas prices. Ed say’s some stations have a $100 cut off, so if you need to fill up your tank you will have to go to another gas station. Ed believes it’s the freight cost that is causing the ever increasing price of gas as well as food and products. United States is the largest producer of oil in the world and there should be no reason for what’s happening. The duo discuss how people are leaning towards electric vehicles and the possibility of installing wires in the highways to charge your car as you drive. Ed makes a point by stating, “if they can’t fix the potholes, what makes you think they can afford to install “wires” in the roads? Ed also feels that politicians should be business owners or entrepreneurs before becoming a government official in order to understand what it takes to manage people. Before Ed leaves he shares that over 325,000 plus people showed up to watch the Indy 500 as it was the first year back from COVID. The largest single day sporting event in the world.
